ILS Staff Presented at the Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS) Meeting
ILS staff, Cheryl Hobbs, Ph.D. and Carol Swartz, Ph.D. attended the Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS) meeting in Kansas City, MO on September 24-28, 2016. Dr. Hobbs gave a talk and presented a poster on “Toxicogenomic Evaluation of Baseline and Exposure-Related Effects of Valproic Acid, Garcinol, and DZNeP on Gene Expression in an Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Line”. Dr. Swartz gave a talk and presented a poster on “In Vitro Micronucleus and CometChip® with Metabolically Competent HepaRG™ Cells”.
ILS Staff Attended the American Society for Cellular and Computational Toxicology (ASCCT) Meeting
ILS staff attended the American Society for Cellular and Computational Toxicology (ASCCT) meeting in Research Triangle Park on September 29-30, 2016. Dave Allen opened the meeting with the President’s Welcome and served as a session chair, Xiaoqing Chang gave a platform presentation on “An open source workflow for in vitro to in vivo extrapolation”, Judy Strickland presented a poster on “Prediction of skin sensitization potency using machine learning approaches”, and Les Recio was an invited participant for a panel discussion on “Using stem cell models to improve the safety assessment of pharmaceuticals”.
